Salary: Salary £20,000-£25,000 dependant on experience


As an Insurance Claims Handler you will be working for a market leading independent building claim validation specialist providing an end-to-end building claim handling service, delivering exceptional standards of customer service.


Our client's commitment to customers and staff has led to them expanding in the UK market and are looking for self driven, confident and Experienced Claims Handlers to join our team.



About the Claims Handler Role:


Insurance Claims Handlers require excellent customer handling and organisation skills as you will be required to manage a case load of property claims efficiently and proactively in line with client specific requirements and service level agreements.



As a claims handler you will:



  • Proactively manage own caseload to consistently achieve all relevant Service Level Agreements

  • Effectively handle all customer interactions professionally, knowledgeably and with Treating Customers Fairly in mind

  • Produce work of a consistently high quality in line with internal processes and guidelines

  • Operate within, and adhere to, signed off authority levels

  • Adhere to relevant governance and regulatory processes

  • Take responsibility for own self-development through effective use of PDR and audit feedback and relevant learning courses

  • Contribute positively to both great teamwork and a good overall culture



In order to be considered for this position you will have:



  • Relevant technical claims experience

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to manage own time and caseload

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Self motivation with a drive for continuous self development

  • Effective communicator

  • IT proficient

  • Good problem-solving capacity




The Benefits:



  • Excellent starting salary - for experienced and inexperienced candidates

  • Hours of work are 8am-5pm with an hour lunch or 8.30-5pm with 30mins lunch (40 hrs).

  • Permanent, Full Time Contract
