Our client who is based on the outskirts of York City Centre are considered a leader within their sector, with over 40 years delivering clinical insight on a global scale, due to growth our client has instructed Adecco to recruit a Part Time Clinical Trials Technician on an ongoing basis.

Pay Rate is £9.75 to £10.50 per hour

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

The Role

  • Perform receipt, QC checks, labelling and onward processing of Clinical Trials specimens

  • Perform accurate data entry into various laboratory information management systems

  • Maintain full inventory and tracking of storage specimens while always ensuring the integrity of the specimens

  • Preparing samples for onward shipment

  • Work with samples under varying temperature conditions including dry ice (-80�C) and liquid nitrogen (-196�C)

  • Utilise study documentation to aid in problem solving and escalate to senior staff as required

  • Perform housekeeping as required to maintain a clean and tidy working environment

  • Manage specimen related study documentation including preparation for archiving

  • Participate in Quality Audits and inspections of Clinical Trials as prescribed by departmental policies and regulatory agencies.

  • Guarantee client satisfaction by providing exceptional service to internal customers

  • Able to adapt to changing priorities with guidance from senior team members

The successful Clinical Trial Technicians will have good attention to detail analytical thinking, excellent time management skills, and ability to communicate well verbally and in writing, be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
