Operation and Programming of CNC Milling machines to high standard of quality and productivity.
Adherence to company Health and Safety Policy.
Maintenance of shop floor housekeeping standards.

Experience:
Apprentice trained or equivalent on the job experience training
Ability to read and interpret complex product drawings including geometrical tolerances
Ability to carry out a complete set up for new parts
Ability to develop jigs and fixtures to improve quality and productivity
Ability to operate 1 OR 2 machines where safe and practicable or work within a cell operation
Run and modify / edit existing programmes
Program writing on several CNC machines from customer drawings in Fanuc programming languages
Periodic review / development of existing Fanuc programmes to reduce costs
Tooling development with current and new suppliers



Hours of Work
Days: Monday - Wednesday 06:00 - 16:30 Thursday 06:00 - 15:30 (37.Hrs)
Nights: Monday - Wednesday 20:00 - 06:00 Thursday 20:00 - 05:30 (37.Hrs)
(Nights normally work 4-12 Hours shifts) + Overtime


Working Location & Travel Requirement
Should be located or be prepared to re-locate to within a reasonable commuting distance from Sheffield.


Extra Company Benefits
£22k to £29k salary scale with hourly rate of £11.15 - £13.60 dependant on experience +£2,461 per annum for Days & Nights
Overtime bonus up to 15% Salary subject to business demand
Holidays are 25 days plus statutory holidays progressing to 27 days plus 8 statutory holidays
