Commercial and Facilities Management Manager


We are currently recruiting for a Commercial and Facilities Management Manager to provide administrative support to the Commercial and FM section in the provision of goods, services and building management.


The Organisation are a unique law enforcement organisation which both investigate and prosecute the most serious economic crime. They focus on tackling the most serious, complex and high profile economic crime (top tier fraud, bribery and corruption). They currently employ around 410 staff including lawyers, investigators and administrators and work closely with colleagues across the sector and the criminal justice system at home and abroad.

  • Pay: £13.40 p/hr

  • Hours: Monday to Friday - 36 hours

  • Type: Temporary

  • Duration: 5 Months

  • Start Date: ASAP (Pending Vetting)


Due to the client involved a vetting period will be involved prior to start which will be discussed with successful candidates.


Principal Responsibilities:



  • Provide administrative support for day to day management of all service contracts. Liaising with supplier contractors to provide VFM and improve service performance.

  • Assisting (if required) in the setting up of meetings and conference facilities, room set up, ensuring that equipment and any specific customer requirements are provided in line with internal service levels.

  • Assisting with FM and Commercial projects.

  • If required, assisting switchboards calls in line with guidance proved by Strategic Relation.

  • Management of budget control systems for relevant areas. Acting as the first point of contact for commercial in box and drafting counsel instruction and contract letters accordingly.

  • Promoting value for money within the department, keeping contract records up to date, including external records where appropriate.

  • Ensuring that customer expectations are met through managing the customer requirements in a proactive and professional manner.

  • To develop and maintain relationships with all staff and suppliers to ensure the smooth operation of the Procurement and FM management function.

  • To develop and maintain appropriate systems of internal control to enable the commercial section to operate effectively, efficiently, ethically and provide MI's when required.


Person Specification:



  • Experience of working in a procurement department.

  • Sound knowledge and practical experience of public sector procurement regulations and EU procurement directives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with staff and external contacts at all levels, both specialists and nonspecialists.

  • A methodical, well organised approach to work is required to balance the needs of a number of projects.

  • The ability to learn quickly and work under pressure maintaining a high level of accuracy and detail.
