Salary: £25000


Location: Maldon (must have transport due to location)


Hours: Shift pattern of 6 am - 3 pm and 12 pm - 9 pm

There are roles available for experienced chefs but also for candidates that have no experience and would like to go down this career path. Full training provided


Key Responsibilities:




  • To ensure the company service standards and Kitchen Operational standards are followed




  • Assisting the Kitchen Management team with food prep to include salad and vegetables, starters, mains and bakery section.




  • Cooking of any items requested where training has been completed for any Resort menus.




  • Plating any designated meals requested to a high standard of attention to detail and presentation and to the designated dish specification.




  • Ensuring the plate wash and pot wash are operational at all times and clean utensils are available at all times.




  • To effectively stock rotate / utilise / manage all foods in the main kitchen refrigerators and freezers ensuring limited food wastage and food spoilage.




  • Cleaning of all areas within any kitchen across the resort to ensure the environment is constantly in line with Health and Safety standards as outlined in the Food Safety Policy.




  • To be a strong team player and establish strong working relationships, treating colleagues with respect.




  • To deliver the highest of food hygiene and food safety standards at all times.




  • To attend any health & safety training sessions as required to ensure that company health and safety and legal obligations are met.




  • To attend all regular Kitchen team meetings with the Kitchen Management team.




  • To ensure that all policies and procedures and Company policies are followed at all times.




  • To carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Kitchen Management Team.
