This person will ideally be a graduate seeking the opportunity to develop their career. The role requires them to be proficient at communicating, while being able to produce engaging copy and well designed materials, as well as being adept at digital communications and social media content management.


Responsibilities:



  • Produce dedicated bi-monthly newsletters for all projects

  • Produce bi-monthly CSR newsletters for each country we work in

  • Support the production of stakeholder booklets, handover books and any other forms of project marketing and promotional materials

  • Help produce all CSR internal and external communications (presentations, proposals, reports)

  • Support in the creation of new websites for each project and help keep content up to date

  • Produce news articles and online features for all websites and social media platforms, as well as keeping up to date on online news surrounding company projects

  • Help manage social media pages and content

  • Help to cultivate positive relationships with in-country PR teams/partners and outside agencies and news outlets where needed, to ensure our communications support the company's values and beliefs

  • Manage email distribution lists

  • Help ensure there is a standardised theme across communication literature

  • Keep relevant areas of the company's online filing and CRM platform up to date with client communication documents and materials

  • Provide support with all project and company media filing

Skills and experience:



  • Must have a relevant degree/qualification

  • Have experience in preparing, designing, editing and producing newsletters, reports, presentations and proposals

  • Have good knowledge and experience in writing and editing clear copy in English for a variety of audiences, with the understanding some of it will need to be produced in French

  • Have experience of working to tight deadlines

  • Have excellent writing and communication skills

  • Be able to interpret complex and sensitive information and create interesting communication materials from it

  • Be a proficient user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Have experience in using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Would be desirable to have knowledge of working with and keeping website/social media content up to date


Package:



  • Salary band - £22,000 to 26,000 per year

  • Holidays - 20 days, plus bank holidays

  • Mon-Fri, 9-5 Office Hours with reasonable additional hours when needed without additional pay

  • Travel and reasonable out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed

  • Travel insurance
