An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our innovative, well established and people focussed client based in Rotherham.


As a Compliance Officer you will support the Compliance Manager to ensure policies and procedures are in line with regulatory and ethical standards. You will be responsible for identifying and assessing areas of compliance risk, communicating the importance of the compliance programme to the Compliance Manager and company employees.


The ideal candidate will be flexible, motivated and have great communication and relationship-building skills. Previous experience of compliance and standards is essential.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist the Compliance Manager with health & safety, data protection, GDPR, security, quality and environmental standards & regulations

  • Research & analyse data

  • Maintain continuous compliance

  • Audit the data process in relation to GDPR, identify the risks and how they will be addressed

  • Manage risks and conduct risk assessments

  • Prepare reports

  • Enforce corrective actions

  • To undertake any other duties in agreement with the post holder and Manager.


Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:



  • Previous experience of compliance and standards

  • Excellent written and verbal communication Skills

  • Ability to interpret and attention to detail

  • Risk assessment capabilities

  • Outstanding organisational and time-management skills

  • Experience of working in a fast paced, pressurised environment

  • Positive, enthusiastic approach

  • Ability to use all Microsoft Applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
