Role - Compliance Officer

Salary - £19,261 per annum

Location - Rotherham

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and have gained experience in a similar compliance or audit role where they have managed or processed large amounts of data whilst adhering to GDPR and in house processes.

As this role requires adhering to strict processes in line with GDPR the successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail and a proven track record of working with sensitive data with a passion for customer service.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Assist colleagues in providing accurate and clean data to ensure financial stability of the institution

  • To maintain knowledge of contract rules between the institution and subcontractors

  • Provide assurance of accurate data through internal audit systems and processes

  • To review all enrolment documentation to input into the in house systems and check all documentation is completed and checked in a timely manner

  • To review data and liaise with other departments in regards to amendments

  • Highlight any errors or inconsistencies to the relevant departments and ensure these are dealt with in a timely manner

Person specification:

  • Evidence of vast IT experience and knowledge, particularly with Microsoft Office packages

  • Level 3 or equivalent in administration

  • Motivated, organised and can work unsupervised on their own initiative and as part of a team

  • Qualification in related area or relevant knowledge and experience

  • Ability to listen and process information

  • Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner

  • Experience in adhering to strict rules and procedures surrounding compliance and GDPR

  • Work in a professional and confidential manner with a high degree of integrity and flexibility
