Job title; CONTENT MARKETING EXECUTIVE


Salary; £30-32k


Full-time (35 hours per week)


Location; City


Hybrid working model due to the pandemic (2 days a week in the London)



PURPOSE OF ROLE



To produce high quality marketing content across all channels, driving sales and increasing engagement with customers across industry sectors.



To own the brand and ensure consistency across all channels and output, overseeing the production of all marketing materials, including e-campaigns, print documents, advertisements, reports, e-newsletters, video production and website content. This role will involve working with the Marketing Assistant to provide guidance and mentoring (not line management).

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES



Email campaign management




  • Design, write and implement direct email marketing campaigns in line with our customer acquisition plan (data segmentation and targeting)

  • Manage third party campaigns through our ad agency and upload advertising assets to the website as necessary

  • Analyse campaign performance, report back on revenue generation from e campaigns and suggest improvements

  • Proofread emails/content for clarity, grammar and spelling

  • Identify target audiences to grow our email list

  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices and are GDPR compliant

  • Work with the IT and Database Manager to ensure all appropriate data is captured within the core business system for the purposes of data analysis and segmentation



PERSON SPECIFICATION



Skills and experience




  • Relevant qualification in Marketing, demonstrable experience in a similar role

  • Digital disruptor, new ways of market penetration

  • Eye for design and an ability to use InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and video editing packages

  • Advanced knowledge of email platforms such as DotMailer and MailChimp, segmenting data for different audiences

  • Ability to write compelling content for different audiences and across different platforms

  • Knowledge of SEO/coding/HTML

  • Eye for detail and good command of both written and spoken English language

  • Ability to work on own initiative without detailed direction

  • Good team player; able to liaise closely with internal colleagues and external customers

  • Self-motivated demonstrating drive, enthusiasm and determination and impeccable attention to detail

  • Creative, innovative and organised
