A fantastic temporary opportunity has become available with our client based in East London for a Contracts Development Officer (the role is expected to be for 3-5 months).

The successful candidate with be assisting the Contracts Development Manager in planning the provision of front-line and contracted services across East London; we have included a list of responsibilities below - however, as this role is quite varied, this is not an exhaustive list.

  • Participate in the meetings and negotiations framework with contractors to ensure all the conditions of the contract are understood and met, including the imposition of sanctions and to explore the potential for service variations

  • Examine performance data, identify weaknesses and strengths in contract performance across the Division

  • Assist with the provision and development of all operational services including resource allocation, quality control, strategic development, service improvements

  • Assist with the delivery of other major contracts

  • Deliver services in line with the service integration agenda and ensure that community liaison is at the forefront of all decision making

  • Assist in the development of partnership working with community groups, businesses, central and local government
