Adecco Sunderland has a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established expanding company based in Durham as a Contracts Manager to strengthen their existing team on a permanent basis.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Commercial installations.

  • Oversee all Commercial /Financial matters

  • Provide regular project performance reports to the Board

  • Line management of Site Managers

  • Direction both direct and sub-contract labour

  • Oversee Designers

  • Oversee sales and Estimating and Developing new clients

  • Liaise with materials & sub-contract procurement teams and labour manager to ensure the correct resources are available

  • To work with and alongside existing directors.

  • Other duties to be discussed as required

The ideal candidate will:

  • Ideally be educated to degree level

  • Have experience working as a Contracts Manager on similar projects

  • Possess up to date knowledge of H&S

  • Have strong management and communication skills

  • Be computer literate

  • Have a full UK Driving License

  • Be Driven and ambitious with the desire to possibly progress your career to Director level.

  • To be able to communicate at all levels.

  • To have a methodical approach and can resolve issues as and when these arise.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own.
