DESCRIPTION:



The partnership deals with all aspects of Community Safety Services in Sutton; including Emergency Planning services, Anti-Social Behaviour, Public Space CCTV and parking services and enforcement.



A CONTRACTS & PERFORMANCE OFFICERS MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • To analyse quantitative data to identify trends and patterns in crime and Anti-Social behaviour.

  • To liaise with other analysts, council officers and partner agencies to support problem solving activities.

  • To help develop and monitor Community Safety projects as required

  • Define and predict trends in crime, disorder and incident hotspots/series across the partnership area. Provide recommendations into further identification, prevention and detection opportunities.

  • Undertake intelligence analysis using standard analytical techniques producing analytical products as required in accordance with Home Office guidance.

  • Undertake evaluations of criminal justice projects to determine the impact, results, outcomes and recommend any new approaches or change of direction.

  • Deliver presentations, performance reports and briefings, based upon meaningful analysis of data and assessment, and contribute to partnership meetings.



A CONTRACTS & PERFORMANCE OFFICER MUST HAVE:



  • Data analyst experience

  • Excellent performance management

  • Experience in contract management

  • An understanding of crime, crime reduction and the issues surrounding community safety and partnership working.

  • Excellent IT knowledge/ skills.
