The principal responsibility of the role is to provide support to HM Coroner and Coroners Officers in respect of investigations of deaths and enquiries relating to the Treasure Act, which lead to a Coroner's Inquest.

Key requirements:

  • Willingness to work in a challenging environment

  • MS Office skills, especially Word - ability to type at a minimum of 35 WPM

  • Proven customer care and communication skills at all levels.

  • An understanding of databases and how to interrogate them

  • Administration skills

  • Some understanding of the role of the Coroner and the nature of Coroner's inquests.
