We are currently recruiting for Credit Analyst within an Energy company, based in London. Hybrid working Monday - Friday. Start asap, this is a long-term contract, for the right person it may go permanent. Pay £200 - £250 day rate.



Primary Responsibilities:



  • Monitor credit exposure through various trading and credit systems and ensure all systems are synchronised for credit limits, and exposures are properly reported

  • Negotiate credit provisions for agreements (including EFET, NBP, Swap agreement) and/or collateral, including (but not limited to) evaluation and management of approval process for extended payment terms

  • Work closely with traders and other commercial staff, legal, contracts, accounting, and external customers

  • Coordinate with Accounting to follow up with counterparties on undisputed invoices which have not been paid whether secured or unsecured



Essential:



  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Credit experience (reviews, exposure, Letters of Credit)

  • Excellent analytical and numerical capabilities

  • A keen attention to detail

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work under tight deadlines

  • Computer literate with demonstrable knowledge of MS Office applications
