Adecco Chester are proudly recruiting for a permanent Credit Controller for our well-established client based on Deeside Industrial Estate.

A great opportunity for a personable Credit Control professional to join an exciting sector and a welcoming team within a friendly office environment.

Salary: up to £25,000 p/a dependant on experience

Working Hours: Permanent, Full time. Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:30pm. Hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control of accounts within the sales ledger, working as part of a team

  • Build trusted working relationships with customers, ensuring the highest level of service is delivered and maintained

  • Ensure that accounts are kept within Credit Terms

  • Facilitate a high level of cashflow and minimise levels of overdue debt

  • Liaise and assist internal departments in resolving customer discrepancies in a timely manner

  • Assist in managing cash allocation correctly as per customer payment advise and instructions

  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer details

  • To facilitate customer information requests as demanded by customer including statements and document copies

  • Manage and action specific customer account database requests

  • Ensure that the customer's account is reconciled correctly

  • Ad-hoc support

Key Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in credit control

  • Outstanding communication and inter-personal skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Use of Sage 200 and CRM systems is highly desirable

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Packages

  • Numerate and driven by accuracy

  • Self-motivated and proactive team player
