Adecco Worcester as recruiting for a Credit Controller for their Stourport based client



Our client is looking to recruit an experienced credit controller to join their busy accounts department


Salary - £22 - £24K


Hybrid Working Available


Key responsibilities:



  • Ability to work at a fast pace

  • Experience of working within a service related industry

  • Achieve cash collection and overdue debtors' targets by monitoring and chasing overdue customer accounts in accordance to agreed terms

  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity, ensuring CRM systems is up to date

  • Review customer accounts for legal action

  • Perform Credit Checks

  • Assign and amend correctly authorised credit limits

  • Processing credit card/BACS and Cheque payments as required

  • Daily banking and timely allocation of cash (including setting up DD payments and dealing with PDQ transactions)

  • Create new accounts in line with company policy

  • Raising of Invoices/Credit notes as required

  • Assisting in sales ledger month end procedures

  • Assisting Month/Year End Accounts Procedures

  • Supporting with key activity and projects within the Finance department


Skills & Requirements



  • Strong IT and MS Excel skills (including pivot tables, look ups etc.)

  • Sage Line 50 experience would be advantageous.

  • A proven ability to build strong professional relationships

  • Proven record of working to tight deadlines

  • Commitment to accuracy and driving efficient processes

  • Flexibility to shifting workloads

  • Excellent communication skills across a variety of formats
