£11.10 per hour


Initial 6 months

Hours: 37.5 hrs a week Potential flexi time (core hours are 10-3.45pm)

Shift Patterns:

  • Start and end time: 09:00 - 17:00 (37hrs per week)

  • Full time

  • 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday (no Saturday working required) with a 36-minute daily lunchbreak.

Security Clearance Due to the nature of the work CTC security clearance Resided in the UK for the last 3 years

  • Have a *current* British Passport or settlement status due to the sensitive nature of the work

  • NI Number

  • 2 x proof of addresses (all in UK)

  • 5 years full history with no gaps of more than 1 month

  • 3 years solid reference with no gaps of more than 1 month

These roles are based in a telephony-based Contact Centre.

Customer Contact Officers are responsible for delivering a variety of customer focused activities within a customer service environment, to support the wider client Office operational network. These activities will primarily be via telephone, however, could also be via e-mail.

Key Responsibilities to include (but not limited to):

  • To resolve all telephone queries and e-mail enquiries relating to the clients customers application and Certificate orders, within the established Service Level Agreement timescales.

  • Provide advice and guidance on a range of complex enquiries.

  • To provide a comprehensive response to customer complaints ensuring identification of lessons learned.

  • To develop and maintain knowledge of legislation, policy, procedure and security guidelines.

  • To provide timely and excellent customer service
