We are currently working with the prestigious Home Office In Southport and are supporting them with recruitment in a number of temporary Contact Centre Operators to join this growing team.



Do you have excellent customer service background? If you do this is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience on the processes and procedures that are relevant to the Home Office as well as to gain experience and training within a call centre environment?



The role is to resolve telephone queries and e-mail enquiries relating to Passport application and Certificate orders and to provide advice and guidance on a range of complex nationality, eligibility and procedural enquiries to customers.



To be successful you will need:




  • Excellent communications skills for both written and verbal and able to liaise with a wide range of diverse customers

  • Eexperience of working in a customer facing environment and promoting good customer service and communication.

  • Fflexible and able to successfully perform a range of multi-skilled duties.

  • Able to confidently manage potentially difficult and challenging situations.

  • Demonstrate sound interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills and thrive working as part of a team




Desirable



  • Previous call center/contact center experience



Full Training will be given.



Duration: to start once security clearance is obtained and it will be potentially up 31st March 2022 but once you have security clearance and experience you can apply for the new roles after March or permanent roles that come up in your local office.



Hours: Start and end time: 09:00 - 17:00 (37hrs per week) Monday to Friday and a daily 30 mins lunch break




The Benefits - you will be on Day 1 rights straight away which means equivalent hourly salary as a permanent employee and increased holiday to 35 including bank holiday



Due to the sensitive nature of the work CTC security clearance will need to be obtained, you will need the following:




  • Resided in the UK for the last 3 years

  • Have a *current* British Passport or settlement status due to the sensitive nature of the work

  • NI Number

  • 2 x proof of addresses (all in UK)

  • 5 years full history with no gaps of more than 1 month

  • 3 years solid reference with no gaps of more than 1 month
