Customer Finance Support Specialist

Remote (after 10weeks in house training)
My clients are looking for several Collection Advisors to start work this May- Must pass DBS check and Credit check for this role.

In Summary, you will be responsible for:
* Working with customers, using appropriate questioning techniques to understand their situation so that the right outcome can be offered.
* Identifying where additional external support may be beneficial and signposting the customer to the appropriate organisations
* Agreeing and setting up appropriate, sustainable solutions for customers
* Being able to clearly explain the impact that arrears/missed payments have on credit files and future lending decisions
* Understanding regulators/industry requirements when dealing with customers and ensuring that you remain complaint to these.
* Developing a deep understanding of the Money Advice Trust models that are available to aid conversations in order to support our customers, and how to utilise these models effectively
* Using judgement when assessing the right outcome for the customer, knowing when and how to step away from the process.
* Updating customer records to ensure there is an accurate reflection of what has been discussed and all agreed actions have been taken.
* Ensuring customers are clear on any actions they need to take to support them maintaining their account going forward

Working hours During the training (approximately 10 weeks) working hours are 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. After Training this is a remote role (2 days a month to go into office)
After the first few weeks of initial training the team will work shifts between the times of
9am - 9pm Monday to Friday & 9am-6.30pm Saturday to Sunday.
Potential shift pattern: 12.30pm - 9pm Monday -Friday and 9am - 6.30pm on either Saturday or Sunday, with an additional day off during the week.

Collections Support specialist- the main part of the role will be taking calls from customers who are struggling to pay their payments and setting them up on the most suitable payment plan that is best for the customer - you are not debt collecting, you are here to support customers the best you can
You must have worked with venerable or difficult customers in the past
You must be calm, empathetic and friendly
Full time 6 month temp position, with the opportunity after to be extended or go perm
12 weeks of training, the first 4 weeks will be at Nottingham office, then the following 8 will be hybrid from home and 2-3 days in the office
Once training is complete you will only go in to the office once every 2 weeks so 95% from home
23k - 11.79 an hour paid weekly
Working on a 3 week rota- shifts are 9-6, 10-7 and 11-8. Also includes working 1-2 weekends a month(9-5) with time off in the week
If successful the client will require us to do checks, therefore if you have a criminal record, a CCJ or Default against your name in the last 6 years we will not be able to proceed
Interviews are this week and next week- 1/1.30 hours virtually
