Adecco's specialist Property Services Division North are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a local housing association to assist them in recruiting for a permanent Customer Liaison Officer to work out of their offices located in Sunderland.



Purpose


The role will ensure effective liaison with various contractors, stakeholders, and colleagues across several schemes to ensure a seamless, customer focused service is delivered to the housing associations tenants during planned works's programmes.


It's all about the customer care element and it's a real lynch pin role between the Project manager managing the works and the tenants who are living through the works.


The post holder must at all times comply with the Health and Safety policy and procedures and must draw to their manager's attention any unsafe working practice and conditions



Duties



  • Ensure that customers receive an excellent service that meets and exceeds their expectations

  • Ensure the tenant, leaseholder or freeholder are fully informed and prepared for the scope and commencement of week, during the process until the end of project.

  • Remedy any issues raised by the tenants, leaseholders or freeholders by working with relevant delivery teams and the Housing Association contractors to ensure they are resolved to their satisfaction.

  • Work with Housing Management, Delivery and Planning teams to gather information on the local areas to understand customers and their individual needs and relay this information effectively to contractors for appropriate action.

  • Ensure regular contact is maintained between yourself, Delivery, Planning and local Housing Management teams sharing instances of best practice

  • Attend and actively participate in the evaluation meetings of completed schemes

  • Attend all relevant consultation events

  • Ensure relevant IT systems are updated



Candidate requirements



  • Experience of working in a similar role - either in maintenance/construction or as a housing officer potentially



  • Need to be a people person-strong interpersonal skill

  • Proven knowledge of building construction, investment and Compliance works programmes from a customer perspective

  • Ability to use IT systems, Microsoft Office package, CRM and Orchard ( or similar)

  • Full UK Driving licence.
