Customer Service Administrator

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join our established and growing client based on Ransomes Europark in Ipswich. It is essential that you have previous experience within a busy customer service role, ideally with a ventilation or electrical background.

This is the perfect role for someone who wants to work in a close knit, fast paced team and can build brilliant relationships with new and existing clients to maximise the sales for the company. The Customer Service Manager will provide all training regarding the operational, IT and product elements of the role.

The role

The main objectives of this position are to establish new and maintain existing commercial relationships with customers, to meet and exceed the yearly sales targets. We are looking for somebody who would be able to identify new market sectors and customers that would benefit from our client's products.


  • Communicate in a positive, professional way with existing and new customers daily to enable them to have a service where their account is managed to a high standard

  • Provide high levels of expertise and support for the clients to provide them with a solution

  • Persuading customers that our clients would benefit them more than potential competitors' companies

  • Supply all customers with written quotes and terms of business

  • Maintaining the accounts of customers on our clients CRM systems e.g. quotes, visit notes and communication

  • Liaising with internal departments to provide additional support for customers

  • Managing returned products and records of these

  • Ensure stock levels are to the level they need to be to carry out orders and the rate of sale for each item

  • Inputting sales orders accurately onto the company stock management system


  • Previous customer service experience within a busy office

  • Fantastic organisation and communication skills

  • The ability to work independently, but also to collaborate with team members

  • IT knowledge (use of Microsoft Office and CRM systems)

  • Background in either ventilation or electrical wholesale is essential
