Customer Service Administrator required for busy manufacturing company based in Ayrshire. They are looking for an ambitious candidate who is keen to learn the role and look to progress in the future. Ideally you will have some previous customer service administration experience within a FMCG environment although this is not essential.


Job Purpose



  • Ensure the efficient Sales Order Administration of Customer Order Process

  • Ongoing liaison with Planning, Marketing and Warehousing to ensure Customer Issues are Satisfied in a timely manner


Key Responsibilities



  • Responsible for Sales Order Entry (EDI /SAP) for customers on a daily basis highlighting OTIF risk at point of order entry

  • Customer Communication Point with regard to Issues

  • Issue warehouse acknowledgements to Warehouse to allow Order Picking of Customer Orders

  • Responsible for Invoicing Customer Orders on a daily basis

  • Maintenance of Customer Price Files and Customer Codes

  • Customer Returns Transactional Management

  • Issue of Credits to Customers after investigation and sign off

  • Arrange shipments / delivery slots ensuring appropriate Paperwork available for Warehouse

  • Export Documentation Ordering and Supply for Shipping

  • Ensure filing of customer documentation is maintained.

  • Update daily, weekly & monthly schedule.


Key Competencies



  • Experienced in Customer Service Management within an FMCG environment

  • Good Administration Skills

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office

  • Customer Focused

  • High degree of flexibility with good cross functional problem solving and communication skills

  • Eye for detail with regard to commercial issues


Hours of work are 9-5 Monday-Friday and the salary range is CIRCA £20-23000 depending on experience.
