Customer Service Advisor

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £20,000 to £22,000

We have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to work for a leading local business that have experienced considerable growth in the past 24 months. They are a lovely family feel business who are passionate about creating an amazing work environment for their staff.


Working within the Customer Service Team as a Customer Service Advisor (with an emphasis, but not limited to, pre- or post-sales activities) your role will be to provide an outstanding level of Customer Service to all our customers, whether that be verbally over the telephone or in written communication.


  1. Always be a positive brand representative for the company.

  2. Responsible for processing sales via telephone or email

  3. Responsible for the completion of online orders following internal processes.

  4. Capture Customer feedback about products and report any manufacturing defects to the Team Leader following the fault reporting process.

  5. Liaise with couriers where necessary to ensure successful delivery of our goods.

  6. Respond to product-related questions from Customers.

  7. Protecting customer information, including sensitive financial information, in accordance with Company Policy.

Key Skills and Experience:

  1. Provide an outstanding level of customer service.

  2. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.

  3. IT literate, specifically Microsoft Outlook and awareness of full MS Office suite, with good numeracy skills.

  4. Able to always maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude

  5. Organised, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks

  6. Able to work as part of a team supporting colleagues and promoting excellent team spirit

  7. Ability to prioritise workflow to meet deadlines

Working hours

You would work on a 2-week rota basis working 12 hour shifts.

Week 1 - 4 days (including Saturday and Sunday) 8am to 8pm

Week 2 - 3 days (Monday to Friday) 8am to 8pm

With this shift pattern it means you are only working 14 days every 4 weeks!!! and gives you plenty of free time in the week.


£20,000 rising to £21,000 after successful completion of your probation period, then rising to £22,000 once full training completed and you have been with the business for at least 6 months.
