Customer Service Advisor

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm or 9am - 7pm over 4 days (No Weekends)

Duration: Until End of December 2021 - Potential to be made Permanent

Our large client in utilities are looking for keen members to join their growing business.


  • Increase growth by understanding why customers are wanting to leave, successfully aligning products and services to their needs and saving the customer.

  • Promote and cross sell a wide variety of products and services to new and existing customers to increase customer retention, loyalty and to build the highest reputation.

  • Identify and understand customer needs in order to provide a consistently high-quality service and effectively promote products and services to enhance the customers experience.

  • Provide accurate information on products and services to ensure consistency across the organisation and provide a reliable and trustworthy customer service driving positive Net Promoter score.

  • Deliver customer outcomes that meet values and our commitment to treating customers fairly.

  • Deliver on operational KPI's including sales, save and conduct.

  • Demonstrate effective behaviours.

Who we're looking for:

  • The ideal candidate will be customer obsessed and have experience in a customer service and sales/retention environment. They will need to be confident and professional when faced with challenging customers and passionate about product promotion, winning new customers and growing our business.

  • This is an outbound dialling role where you will be contacting existing customer using your tools and conversational skills to help our customers decide that we are the right choice for them!

  • Ability to build effective customer relationship - both internal and external

  • Product promotion and sales closure skills

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner

  • Demonstrate positively and enthusiasm about new and/or challenging tasks

  • Ability to perform in a regulated sales environment

  • Outbound dialling capability to support commercial and customers needs

  • Ability to adapt to varying customer demand across various channels including voice, chat and text

  • Displays an ongoing commitment to learning and self-improvement

Must be able to commit to a start date of the 27th September 2021.
