Adecco Sunderland has a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company who is experiencing a period of expansion and is therefore looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis based in Sunderland.



My client offers a competitive salary depending on experience + bonus.



To professionally manage all aspects of the packaging process to complete a deal for payment. Providing a prompt, efficient and professional service to internal and external customer at all times. Working in a team orientated environment assisting colleagues in achieving team and business objectives to challenging deadlines.



This is an office based customer service / experience role and duties will include:



  • Receipt and processing of customer orders, as well as documenting all relevant information and undertaking general administration duties.

  • Regular customer communication in relation to delivery lead times and other information requested, whilst also effectively handling and processing day to day enquiries.

  • Liaising with our sales team to help maximize potential sales opportunities, whilst also logging and processing any Customer Complaints, including assisting in investigations.

  • Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the Commercial Manager from time to time, related to the effective and efficient performance of the job, and providing they are within the post holders skills and ability.



As a Customer Service Advisor, you should be able to demonstrate a relevant background in a similar office-based customer support role and possess the following:



  • A confident and professional telephone manner, along with a strong customer focus and experience of dealing with customer complaints

  • Accurate data entry/order processing skills and a good all-round level of PC literacy, coupled with the ability to learn new systems

  • A diligent and highly organised approach, coupled with plenty of initiative and a passion for delivering a superior level of customer service

  • Good relationship building skills, plus the ability to work as part of a team and independently
