We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join the front line team located at The Keep in Brighton for 10 months.

£10.34 PAYE P/H
37hrs 5 days per week Mon-Sat

Minimum 6 month temporary assignment

Shifts will be between Mon-Sat

Hours will be between 8.30am-6pm

The Keep is an archive centre that offers public access to the collections of the East Sussex & Brighton Record Office, the Royal Pavilion & Museums and Brighton and Hove Local History Collections, and the University of Sussex Special Collections. We also run pre-bookable public workshops, tours and events, as well as providing teaching space for the University of Sussex.

The Public Service/Business Manager is responsible for the day to day operational management of The Keep's frontline services. Duties are as follows:

Line manage the Archive Assistants, Reprographics Officer and Research Assistant.

Maintaining and balancing rotas and timetables to ensure all public service points are covered and all elements of the service adequately resourced.

Liaise with colleagues from across the partnership to provide excellent customer service for all visitors.

Cash management and banking duties and income reporting within ESCC systems.

Key-holding and security responsibilities.

The rota will include some 8.30am starts, 6pm finishes and regular Saturday working with a day off in the week, details to be negotiated.
