Customer Service Manager - Chelmsford

Our thriving client based in Chelmsford are recruiting a Customer Service Manager to join their Customer Service Team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing the CS team and motivating them to ensure they deliver exceptional customer service

  • Develop the team as individuals, constantly monitoring individual's performance

  • Works with the CS team to ensure KPI's are met

  • Improve the customer service experience, engage with customers

  • Ensure close working relationships with other department heads to ensure customer requirements are met

  • Analyse data and prepare accurate reports

  • Working with the team to ensure customer portals are kept up to date

  • Oversight of customer complaints, and ensure we adhere to company policies

  • Close working relationship with BDM to ensure customer feedback is discussed and actioned

  • Constantly looking for improvements, to make the team and system work more efficiently

  • Oversight of order processing on a daily basis, customer portals, product launches

  • Close working relationship with all department heads


  • Excellent Telephone skills

  • To be able to communicate effectively both with customers and with other team members.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook

  • A team player is essential

  • Manage/prioritise workload when under pressure

  • Be tolerant and Patient

Type: Permanent

Salary: Dependant on experience

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00am-4:00pm
