Customer Service Representative
Based in Andover
Permanent
Salary ranging between £22,000 - £25,140 depending on experience
Hours 8:30am - 17:00pm Monday - Friday



An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Champion, to process all customer order types through all processes from placement to delivery, providing the highest level of customer service


This role will involve:



  • Processing of orders, contracts, quotations, via e-mail and telephone requests from customers

  • Being the main point of contact for key customer enquiries, liaising with them regularly and informing them on the status of their orders, including dispatch

  • Entering quote requests on the internal databse

  • Arranging transport with UK Distribution Partner(s)

  • Hands-on preparation of paperwork for export consignments

  • Checking shipment paperwork

  • Inputting shipment details onto computer system

  • Booking collections / deliveries with freight forwarders

  • Dealing with invoicing letters of credit and all allied documentation

  • Administrative support to the Customer Service Manager, including preparation of reports



The successful candidate should have:



  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent communication skills with friendly and professional telephone manner

  • Accuracy, precision, attention to detail

  • Good organisational and prioritisation skills

  • Customer Services or Sales Administration experience

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and Forecasting (desirable)

  • Sound experience in Exports with an emphasis on Dangerous Goods (desirable)

  • A knowledge of international courier systems and Freight Forwarding (desirable)

  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems
