Adecco are delighted to be supporting our client based in Newbury who are seeking a Customer Service Supervisor. Duties include:



  • Leading a team of up to 15 across multiple sub-teams teams. Leading & motivating the workforce.

  • Manage effective communications with the team to deliver operational targets, issues, briefings are effectively delivered

  • Accurately monitor and use relevant production KPI's to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance

  • Utilise team members effectively to deliver agreed targets to required quality and output.

  • Ensure all team members are trained and capable to undertake required tasks.

  • Ensure that the invoicing process is optimised for service, cost and efficiency including invoicing in an agreed timescale.

  • Provide business case and detailed cost justification to decision makers to obtain resources.

  • Liaison with couriers, other departments and the Sales force.

  • Organise and take part in key supplier service reviews

  • Lead and implement projects within the team and cross-functional, to further improve the department, resulting in increasing customer satisfaction, increasing efficiency, lower costs and optimised inventory levels

  • Liaise with and visit customers in order to partner with them to develop innovative solutions and solve issues



The ideal candidate will have:



  • People management and customer service experience

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Equivalent of University Degree or equivalent desirable experience.

  • Experience with business process analysis

  • Ability to communicate in a highly effective manner and work both independently and as part of a team on assignments.

  • Must be IT literate and efficient in an administrative environment.
