Working within the Delivery Specialist team, you will have an absolute passion for customers and delivering an amazing customer experience.


As a Team Leader you'll be helping to make our customers car dreams come true, ensuring their expectations are exceeded every time. Our customers are at the heart of organisation, and you'll be responsible for ensuring the team of delivery specialists you manage provide excellent customer service professionally. This could be by directly helping them exceed customers' expectations and supporting them through training and management to be the best they can be.

What you'll be doing:



  • Acts as a team leader for the delivery team, responsible for providing customers with an exceptional customer experience

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Finance and Distribution to deliver the best for our customers

  • Support the delivery specialists within their roles, providing exception team management through guidance and support

  • Win and retain customers through providing transparent, supportive and professional advice on customer car search enquiries

  • Meeting customers face to face when required to provide excellent customer service

  • Scheduling your team and planning delivery schedules

  • Build strong rapport with both customers both internal and external

  • Team Management duties including holidays, rota, sickness cover and annual appraisals

  • As a business that strives to meet customer needs our deliveries are seven days a week, including early starts and late finishes. Working a 40-hour working week, shift patterns will reflect these requirements, but we'll always ensure appropriate rest and down-time


Skills and experience required:



  • Experience of working in the automotive industry is essential

  • Experience of leading a team within a customer service environment either face to face or over the phone

  • Experience of supporting a logistics sector would be beneficial

  • Team and People management experience

  • Strong communication skills and customer facing skills

  • Eager to learn and develop

  • Wants to work as part of a collaborative and close-knit team

  • Ability to see the bigger picture, whilst also focusing on detail

  • Ability to support and pass on best-practise to a team. Including to train, educate existing experience to other team members

  • Positive and enthusiastic approach

  • Takes ownership of an enquiry or issue

  • Stays current with trends in the automotive industry

  • Track record of customer retention, or growing a customer base

  • C1 driving licence would be advantageous

  • Willingness to travel to London on a regular basis
