A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a Customer Support Advisor in their Redhill office. Our client is an independent service provider of satellite communications and data services to customers anywhere in the world.


Working in a small team, the successful candidate will be a proactive member of the Customer Support team providing call answering, technical, administrative and service support within the business as required.


They key tasks within this role include but are not limited to:



  • To work as part of the Customer Support team providing excellent support to our business customers.

  • To log each call taken and ensure the central database (CRM) is kept updated throughout the lifetime of a query and when resolution is made.

  • To manage the switchboard and reception area as required by the Customer Support Manager.

  • To assist in various administration tasks, e.g. ad-hoc reporting and filing duties

  • To assist with department scanning and other general administrative tasks like the set-up of meeting rooms and catering assistance.


The ideal candidate will be a very quick learner, especially with new technologies. We are looking for someone who has a clear and confident telephone manner and a strong ability to multi task. This is the ideal role for someone looking for their first office job and would suit someone who is looking to start their career in technology. Full training is provided over a 6 month period.


The job role is does involve working 4 days on 4 days off, and the hours are either 7am - 7pm or 8am - 8pm. You must also achieve security clearance which means you must be a permanent resident in the UK for at least 5 years.
