Rate of pay £25.00p/h



The MES Customer Support Lead will have a key role in the provision and delivery of a first class Managed Equipment Service in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, the needs of the customer. It will involve many aspects of imaging equipment management including 1st line technical support, training of staff, identifying risks associated with devices and responding to customer issues when they arise.


The job offers considerable autonomy. A reasonable approach to travel between local sites is required. Some planned weekend and evening work on call is also required on a rota basis. There maybe scope to work from home 1 -2 days per week.



Description:




  • Plans and executes assigned maintenance or repair projects, which involves a range of qualifications or personal resources.

  • Analyzes technical problems on site, and plans resources and budgets needed to solve the issue.

  • Set up maintenance projects, proposes resources, assigns targets and work orders, and monitors progress of repair measures.

  • Act as first point of contact for resolving more complex issues.

  • Oversees ramp up, set up and start procedures in order to prepare machines and equipment for operations.

  • Plans and completes installation projects on site, ensures proper documentation and cooperation with involved operations.

  • Support maintenance of technical documentations of processes and equipment.

  • Advise Technicians in maintenance a repair.

  • Working with colleagues, take ownership of customer issues, plan and execute actions that will result in the most effective resolution for the customer.

  • Oversee preventative, corrective maintenance and proactive onsite visits to ensure work is conducted in an appropriate manner.


Qualifications / Experience



  • An appropriate engineering or clinical background required, preferably within a medical imaging/radiology context

  • Technical and/or applications product knowledge.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent customer communication.

  • Self-reliance and motivation.

  • Good organisational and monitoring skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.
