Our client is a leading a global manufacturer and distributer of security, AV and infrastructure equipment that caters for domestic and commercial consumers. Based on the outskirts of York our client is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join their award-winning team to continue to deliver their standard of customer excellence.

As a Customer Support Specialist your responsibilities will include;

  • Providing excellent customer service, corresponding by telephone and email.

  • Handling sales orders/ returns for our UK and European customers using our online store and email.

  • Assisting our customers with order/delivery discrepancies conducting a full investigation to a satisfactory resolution.

  • Payment processing, account reconciliation, sending regular statements and relaying information on account balances. Chasing overdue accounts.

  • Other duties include new partner account processing.

  • Special projects as assigned by manager

We are looking for the successful candidate to have the following;

  • Excellent customer service, including written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organisational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Standard computer skills required with functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

  • Ability to work independently, and function within a team environment.

  • Ability to understand how to use multiple internet-based systems/platforms.

  • Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent follow up skills

In return our client will offer;

  • Salary of £22,000 to £25,000 dependent on experience.

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
