An exciting opportunity has been created for an experienced Data Analyst to join a market-leading organisation based in Loudwater, Buckinghamshire.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll be responsible for providing data and generating reports for the Senior Management team, Finance, Operations and HR functions, giving strategic overviews of trends and performance challenges. You'll also develop and deploy high quality in-house reporting and have the capability to provide strong critical insight to deliver significant business benefits. This will involve:

Responsibilities and Duties:

Obtain full briefings of reporting requirements from Senior Management

  • Create reports for all business areas, gathering data through Exchequer and PropectSoft

  • Build regular and bespoke dashboard reports

  • Create month end Commercial Reports

  • Running system upgrades, rebuilds etc.

  • Monitoring of system performance and security, invoking appropriate remedial action as necessary

  • Presenting data in PowerPoint

  • Assisting staff with hardware issues (including PCs, printers and AV equipment)

  • Completing monthly sales data analysis

  • Liaising with external IT support to implement and maintain software and hardware including back up

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Able to use MS Word, Excel, & Outlook to an advanced level

  • Experience of working within a data driven environment

  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to prioritise and plan effectively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with a well-structured and analytical approach to reporting

  • Ability to write and manage bespoke reports

  • Working knowledge of an ERP systems

  • Commercial awareness

  • Comfortable working with imperfect data
