We are currently recruiting for a Data and Systems Administrator. Salary £18-£20ph. You would be based at Quadrant Court, Woking; office working required / some home working - travel will be expected.



The role will involve entering data from various sources and will require individuals who can grasp new systems quickly, work as part of a team effectively, efficiently manage a large amount of information that is often sensitive or confidential and must ensure accuracy and diligence in their work whilst working at pace to meet deadlines.

Information inputted by the Data and Systems Administrators will be used by the SCC Adult Social Care team.

Key role responsibilities
* Preparing and reviewing documents for data entry
* Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted
* Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
* Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan
* Reporting on systems and identifying issues and potential resolution
* Assess data, presenting results and putting forward recommendations to support decision making

Qualifications and skills
Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office especially Excel, Teams, Word, Databases. Ability to manage IT setup independently
Proven written and oral communication with the ability to engage and work in collaboration with others
Comprehensive knowledge of computerised business systems
Knowledge of OCC/E-brokerage preferable
Attention to detail
Good knowledge of grammar and punctuation
Ability to work to time constraints
Working under own initiative from home/remote location
Experience of working for local authority preferable but not essential
Knowledge of CQC registration and adult social care homecare market an advantage
Good secondary education level attained
Awareness of data protection rules as applied to sharing and using other organisation's information
