  1. To provide key support to the administration of the procedures under the Children and Families Act 2014 for the Education, Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessment of children and Adolescents with special educational needs.




  1. Contributes to ensuring that service documents are kept up to date and are accessible to all staff




  1. Creates and updates children's records on Capita/Mosaic and ensures that data is accurately inputted.




  1. Specifically, to assist with the migration of cases between data management systems in the department (from Mosaic to Capita). This involves creating records/involvements on Capita and ensuring all details and documents are correct and up to date. Then cross checking cases on the EHC needs assessment spreadsheet with Capita, ensuring all the assessment data is correct on the system.




  1. Undertakes other duties, commensurate with the grade and title of the post, as required by the Senior Case Manager and/or Deputy/Head of SNAS.




  1. Ensures that the line manager is made aware and kept fully informed of any concerns in relation to safeguarding and/or child protection




  1. Generally, promotes the services of the department by assisting the public in person or by telephone in a helpful and courteous manner.

  • The Shared Staffing Arrangement will keep its structures under continual review and as a result the post holder should expect to carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the level of the post.
