We are recruiting for a very well known university based in Central London. They are looking for two Data Entry clerks paying £14.79 per hour. One of the roles will be starting on the 26th July and one is the 2nd August. Currently these roles are short term.



Role 1: Web page updates and data entry and quality checking
We require a temporary role to update a specific set of web pages to replace existing terminology with new terminology and to undertake data entry. This role will:



  • Use spreadsheets provided to locate specific phrases or words which need to be changed to new specific phrases or words on specific web pages

  • Update the web page text to replace the existing phrases or words with the new phrases or words

  • Identify where contextual information may need to be changed in line with the changes to the phrases or words (guidance will be provided)

  • Update the web page text with any contextual information changes identified

  • Categorise further web page changes required using criteria provided e.g., by department using a list of departments and references

  • Mark which updates have been completed on provided tracking spreadsheets

  • Use data sets provided to input data into Salesforce

  • Check information within the dataset against criteria provided to ensure correct categorisation of information within Salesforce

  • Perform periodic quality checks to ensure accuracy and any errors are identified in a timely fashion

  • Mark which data has been input into Salesforce on provided tracking spreadsheets

  • With both tasks, any non-standard information identified should be referred to the named member of staff (details to be provided) for authorisation before proceeding



Role 2: Data entry


We require a temporary role to undertake data entry into Salesforce. This role will:



  • Use data sets provided to input data into Salesforce

  • Check information within the dataset against criteria provided to ensure correct categorisation of information within Salesforce

  • Perform periodic quality checks to ensure accuracy and any errors are identified in a timely fashion

  • Mark which data has been input into Salesforce on provided tracking spreadsheets

  • With both tasks, any non-standard information identified should be referred to the named member of staff (details to be provided) for authorisation before proceeding


Skills required



  • Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and other appropriate software such as Outlook

  • Experience of using/updating web content management systems

  • Experience of editing and publishing webpages

  • Proven accurate and timely data inputting (test scores to be provided)

  • Experience of working with highly personal and sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner

  • Strong attention to detail and maintaining consistency

  • Ability to complete work within specified time frames

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to escalate issues and questions and required
