Adecco Stevenage are currently working with a leading Electronics Manufacturer in Stevenage to fill a Data Entry Vacancy they have had arise due to an increase in workload. The successful candidate must be willing to learn and progress and be happy working as part of a team.



Key Responsibilities



  • Job folder creation - Put together customer information to be able to assemble the build. Documentation needs to be clear and readable

  • Job folder returns - All return build folders will need to be reviewed; missing documentation replaced, making sure correct for next run

  • Updating job folders - When information is up issued, replacing old information and creating change notes so operators are aware of any changes

  • Build Process Sheets - Creating build documentation, taking pictures of builds and special instructions, condensing information in folders, making the build as fast and efficient as possible

  • Talking to operators - Making sure operators are happy with instructions and if there is anything that could aid production

  • Contacting Customers - If operators have any build queries or if other information is required for the build

  • Ordering Stencils - Ordering tooling for builds once order is received

  • Collating quality information - Test and inspection records completed by operators on the shop floor will need to be reviewed looking for trends, then highlighting this information in the job folders avoiding repeat issues on future builds

  • Updating logs - Monthly checks, making sure equipment is running correctly, keeping records of checks

  • Archiving old information - Any builds which are no longer produced, removing the information from production and keeping on file

  • Process improvements - Is there anything which could improve workflow within Engineering and Production



Key Skills and Attributes



  • Ability to multi-task

  • Computer literate able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Training will be provided for other software

  • Confident telephone manner

  • Willingness to learn and progress

  • Inquisitive

  • Interest in the Electronics/Engineering industry would be desirable



The working hours for this role are Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and 8am-1pm on Fridays equalling a 39 hour week. If you are interested in finding out more please apply now and we will be in touch with successful candidates!
