Our higher education client is currently recruiting for a Data Quality Officer, pay £19.41ph-£20.32ph, start ASAP, duration 3 months, hours Mon-Fri 35 hours per week, this role requires to work ideally one day in the office on a Wednesday. Location of the office is Waterloo.


  • Review suspect data on our student record system (SITS);

  • Determine the root cause of the problem (system, process or user error);

  • Ensure the error is corrected;

  • Work with the Lead to ensure that processes, training and system requirements are developed to prevent the reoccurrence of the issue;

  • Identify any areas of concern with data assurance within our systems and report these to the Lead;

  • Suggest any improvements to better enhance reporting to external stakeholders and the service to internal stakeholders.

Ideally we are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience of student records management.

  • Understanding of UK Higher Education sector and business processes related to the student life cycle.

  • Experience of using SITS client and e:Vision.

  • Experience of being a subject matter expert in SITS.

  • Problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data quality issues within student records.

  • Knowledge of reporting and business intelligence.

  • Experience of writing SQL scripts.

  • Excellent knowledge of standard Microsoft Office 365 products (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and

  • who has the ability to work independently and without supervision.
