We are looking for an experienced Demand Planner/Merchandiser to take responsibility for managing inventory levels within our fantastic client's business. You will take ownership of this new function and be experienced with demand planning techniques and forecasting systems.

You will be responsible for working with the sales and operations team to analyse sales by channel and customer and create a rolling demand forecast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with sales and operation teams to analyse historic sales data, customer forecasts and seasonal promotion plans to create demand forecasts.

  • Take ownership of delivering line fill targets and driving stock turn

  • Partner with retail customers to check forecast accuracy and minimise end of line / discontinued stocks

  • Identify risks and commercial opportunities within the inventory

  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with forwarders

  • Track shipments and proactively reduce lead times

  • Book in in bound stocks and Investigate stock errors and discrepancies with the operations team
