The successful candidate will be a proactive member of the team providing digital marketing and communications support to the Knowledge Exchange (KE) Team and more widely across all of BEKE. The intention of the post will be to create, with support from the KE team and wider colleagues, a portfolio of digital comms and marketing collateral for promotion across existing comms outlets, including webpages, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other external platforms. The collateral will initially focus on promoting Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) and Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) case studies and funding opportunities. Where possible, the role will also support the wider BEKE function to promote industry collaboration successes and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities or Duties

To liaise with colleagues from across the KE, the wider BEKE team, and identified academic and external business partners to:

  • Support the KE Team to establish and implement a digital marketing programme of activity to help create a proactive marketing function

  • Develop an understanding of KE, mechanisms and funding opportunities, and our external partners

  • Support the KE Team and stakeholders to produce digital collateral in accordance with brand guidelines to enhance overall KE and brand awareness

  • Support KE (and BEKE) related digital marketing campaigns under the direction of the KE Team

  • Follow a marketing plan in line with budget

  • Identify, with support from the KE Team, suitable digital marketing tools to communicate effectively and professionally with target audiences

  • Produce excellent content and designs, with guidance from the KE Team, which resonates with target audiences in academia, industry, funding councils and government

  • Stay current with the industry trends in digital marketing techniques, platforms, design, and typographic trends, to ensure that content is presented as innovative and forward thinking

  • Provide regular reports on media campaign performance against budget and on achievement against established KPIs

  • Feed into the content planning process, identifying, and sourcing potential news stories and working with teams to launch content across our comms networks

  • Maintain a diverse depository of quotes, stats, and case studies from across the team
