Adecco are currently recruiting for a Digital Learning Designer/Consultant based within a Local Authority in Croydon.

The purpose of the Learning & Organisational Development team is to provide a range of learning activities including digital learning, face to face learning, and inductions for new colleagues, management development, leadership development and personal effectiveness training. We offer learning to our people using a range of delivery methods including face-to-face workshops, eLearning, digital or online content

The role


The purpose of the role is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and expertise in an effective and engaging manner.



Responsibilities


� To review all current eLearning content and where required create new content that is fit for purpose.


� Develop and design new digital learning content through collaboration with Learning & Organisational Development colleagues, internal clients, subject matter experts and others.


� Using a project management approach, be responsible for the end to end design of digital learning and eLearning resources; scripting and storyboarding content as well as building the solution using eLearning authoring tools and other interactive media ensuring learning theory and instructional design methodologies are applied.


� Create high quality and engaging digital learning content using a range of media, e.g. video, animation, audio, graphics, etc. and utilise a blended learning approach.


� To work in partnership with the Learning Management System (LMS) administrator to ensure content is fully user tested and uploaded correctly to the LMS.


� Produce project documentation that is agreed and signed off by the project sponsor at all stages.


� Create supporting learning materials such as handouts.



Essential skills, knowledge & experience


� Previous experience; scripting, storyboarding and developing a range of learning solutions


� Proficient in the use of authoring tools such as Adapt, Storyline or Captivate


� An understanding of learning theory and Instructional design methods


� Strong graphic design skills


� A working knowledge of HTML and CSS


� Proven instructional design and learning & development experience evidenced by a portfolio that showcases previous work


� Knowledge of Moodle course management systems


� Excellent written skills to produce effective copy, instructional text, scripts, etc.


� Good influencing skills


� Innovative, creative and critical thinking
