Overall purpose of the job


The company has strong ambitions for growth through winning new clients and winning new business for existing clients, as well as through acquisition.


The client currently has an opportunity for a digital marketing executive, to drive and support the digital marketing activity across a key business area - InsureTech. The responsibilities fall in all areas of supporting digital development and in the execution of digital campaigns, including maintaining and optimising our website and managing SEO, PPC, Google, and all digital platforms, support co-ordinating our events and PR activity for InsureTech.


The job holder will play an important role in supporting our Marketing Manager, influencing our digital marketing approach and digital delivery across multiple businesses, markets and regions around the world, working closely with key stakeholders across the business. As part of Group Marketing, you will be an agile thinker, driving best practice and providing measurement on our digital activity.



Key responsibilities



  • Working with key stakeholders to provide digital marketing content and schedules to support the overall marketing plan and lead generation activity

  • Producing and distributing high-quality, engaging content for clients and prospects, and measuring its success to strive for improvements

  • Working with key stakeholders to define improvements to optimise customer journeys and support the overall digital marketing plan for the InsureTech and business units

  • Execute content to support our online and face-face events schedule. Support InsureTech Marketing manager and Group Head of

  • Ensuring to optimise wider digital channels of SEO, social, and PPC to our website and that email content and user experience is fully integrated

  • Assisting with measurement and reporting on digital channel performance, both quantitatively and qualitatively

  • Ensuring our messaging, style, and brand consistency is maintained across all digital activity.

Ad hoc duties


As requested by your Line Manager or relevant Board Director, the Job Holder will perform reasonable ad hoc duties within the Job Holder's capabilities.



Person specification



  • Strong creative content skills for all digital channels

  • Degree or equivalent qualification/experience

  • Experience of understanding customer needs/behaviours and how to optimise online customer experiences

  • Experience of B2B digital campaigns, website management and digital content development

  • Creative with ability to think laterally and come up with new/ unique ideas

  • Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement

  • Personable and approachable with an ability to influence and change mindsets at all levels of the business

  • A strong team player with a positive attitude who is committed, collaborative and adaptable, with a passion for excellence.




Desirable Skills



  • Higher professional qualification or working towards, preferred Digital Marketing qualification

  • Experience of developing and executing digital campaign to key clients and prospect

  • Previous marketing and business development experience with an understanding how to link KPI's to grow key clients and support activity

  • Experience using Django, Microsoft Dynamics, Hootsuite, Dotmailer, Google Analytics, Hubspot and Salesforce.
