What is the role?



  • To effectively manage the delivery of commercially viable digital solutions, enabling the strong sustainable growth of our client business.

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with clients and internal teams to promote service delivery excellence.

  • Assist in the development and improvement of Digital Team processes.



Key responsibilities:



  • Effective delivery of digital solutions

  • To support in the management of project-based work including timescale and budget responsibility

  • To be able to support in project meetings, internally and externally

  • To support in the delivery of responses in order to win new business (written and face to face)

  • To effectively manage project resource across a range of projects and delivery timescales

  • To be able to contribute in all aspects of project management and support other roles and teams where there is a project need or skills gap

  • As required, perform the role of any lower role in the team in order to ensure project success



Relationships:



  • Maintain and form client relationships to promote service delivery excellence

  • Respond to and resolve client issues and escalate to the project lead or Operations as required

  • Contribute towards effective internal relationships with other members of all teams across the business (including, Consulting, Creative, Motion Graphics and Operations)

  • Mitigate conflicts by proactively seeking outcomes that are acceptable to all stakeholders

  • Demonstrate influence and professionalism internally amongst colleagues, positively representing the business and its culture Development of team capability

  • To enforce team processes to improve service delivery quality and efficiency

  • To support the digital team and consultants, as a source of process expertise, in delivering client solutions

  • Encourage working within an environment where the team's ideas are recognised and followed through.



Work planning:



  • To review the provision of reasoned estimates of time and resource needed for digital projects to assist the consultants in producing accurate quotes.

  • To supervise project delivery to deliver within time, budget and quality constraints

  • Guide other members of the team to help them make the right decisions when working within budgets and timescales.

  • Work with the operations team to oversee project allocation at a team and company level

  • Support in day-to-day task management and prioritisation for team members



Other:



  • Travel to various locations, including international travel as required

  • Working outside of core office hours to accommodate international clients as occasionally required

  • Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and Gallagher's shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business

Essential



  • Competent in the field of web development

  • Manage personal workload within time and budget constraints

  • Awareness of emerging technologies

  • Effective communication skills within and across teams

  • An understanding of Gallagher Communications business

  • Problem solving


Desirable



  • An understanding of UK retirement savings

  • An understanding of the employee benefits market (UK and US)

  • Commercial awareness

  • Ability to develop ideas for product innovation


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
