Our nationwide client is seeking an experienced Duty Manger to add to Ipswich team. The successful candidate will have previous Management experience, ideally within the Leisure industry and have the skills and experience to bring the best out of its team.

Duties and Responsibilities would include -



  • To help and assist in the daily operation of the site.

  • Supervise and guide the team to maximise revenue

  • To strive to constantly achieve operating standards.

  • To carry out stock takes within the site.

  • That the staff rotas are completed 2 -3 weeks in advance and to the needs of the business, and send to your Regional Manager for Authorisation.

  • To ensure all weekly/Monthly paperwork is correct within site. It is your responsibility to check this is correct every day/week.

  • Weekly paperwork to be sent twice a week.

  • Banking's to be checked and banked every Monday, Friday without fail and Saturdays when possible. Stub numbers to be recorded on the WBS.

  • To respond to Health and Safety audits and to ensure that all points raised are responded to within 72 hours.

  • The office should be neat and tidy and

  • To ensure that all points raised on your site audits are actioned with 72 hours.

  • To strive to achieve a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude.

  • To assist in interviewing, recruitment and training.

  • To ensure all site orders are correct and the stock holding is to the needs of the business. That the correct suppliers are used for products

  • To maximise sales opportunities within site.

  • To meet specified targets as set by head office.

  • To ensure that relevant emails to be printed and signed by all the managers and kept in a folder

  • To be familiar with all products for sale within the business.

  • To lead by example, encourage all colleagues to participate and work together.

  • To have a working knowledge of all promotions within the Site

  • To highlight any perceived training needs for self to head office.

  • To take personal ownership for achievement of all objectives as agreed at appraisal or feedback meetings.

  • To attend and fully participate in all Staff meetings these are to be held every 6 weeks minimum.

  • To attend weekly Managers Meetings and to email minutes over.

  • To respond to Daily Am and Pm reports.

  • To understand and follow administration processes as set by Head office.





  • Evaluate staff performance and give regular feedback

  • To present a professional and welcoming image always, both on and off the job.

  • To take personal accountability for the adherence to all company policies and procedures within the site.

  • laws, food hygiene and health and safety.

  • To ensure fair and reasonable treatment of all individuals in line with legislation and Company policy.



Daily and Weekly Paperwork Checks would include -



  • Check previous days WBS paperwork and daily cash up sheet and verify that it is correct.

  • MGD split needs to be correct on the WBS

  • Wage figure to be correct on the WBS and match the cash analysis.

  • All redeemed deposits should match the BMP system

  • PDQ these need to be checked daily and you can also call the Bank to verify.

  • ATM, the reports should be the figure entered on the WBS

  • Petty Cash, check that the dockets are correct and that no bags have been charged for and that the vat is correct.

  • Amusement Revenue paperwork, figures to be inputted correctly and formulas are not to be changed.

  • Safe checks, to make sure that the safe is correct and that any anomalies are checked and reported as soon as they occur.

  • That all peninsula H&S and fire checks are completed and signed off.

  • All daily check sheets have been completed, and filed away.

  • Stok counts to verify and ensure that the counts are done and the reports sent over
