Adecco Recruitment are working in partnership with Sunseeker International and are currently recruiting an Electrical Assembler to join their busy team based in Poole.

Who we are seeking

We are now recruiting skilled Electrical Assembler to join the Sunseeker family. As a Sunseeker Electrical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacture of a world-renowned, award-winning product range. The most suitable candidates for this role will have relevant prior experience in working with electrics, perhaps in a construction/manufacturing background, a basic understanding of ac and dc electrical theory is essential.

You'll be based at Sunseeker Technology Centre in Poole, Dorset. You'll have the opportunity to work at our largest sites within our award-winning workforce, truly becoming a part of the Sunseeker family.

Example Responsibilities Include:

As an Electrical Assembler at Sunseeker International, you will be responsible for the wiring of electrical and electronic components i.e. relays, circuit protective devices, diodes, plugs, switches, terminals, contactors and other various electrical and electronic equipment.

You will be tasked with the mechanical assembly of components prior to wiring, including cutting and preparation of plastic trunking/conduit, cutting and preparation GRP and plastic enclosures, drilling and preparing wood and PVC substrates, mechanical/chemical fixing of parts to substrates, using a variety of hand and power tools.

Occasional testing and inspection of completed assemblies to a predetermined inspection procedure, using a variety of inspection techniques; visual, mechanical, continuity and automation is required as well as occasional use of automated wire marking machinery, in order to produce pre-marked wires, ready for installation into an assembly or harness.

Our ideal candidate:

Would be a person who is patient, thorough and works to high standard of quality. You will have the ability to problem solve. You will have experience of hands-on electrical sub assembly work, general mechanical assembly, wiring, harness making or electrical inspection.
