Our client is seeking an electronics technician position for an individual with at least 3 years related industry experience, but this is not essential. The position combines the requirement of both technical knowledge and practical skills with experience of working to recognised quality standards. You will work on a wide range of projects, ranging from prototyping to the production of established products.


You will develop a thorough understanding of policies, methods and procedures to service the Defence, Aerospace and Industrial markets.


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • PCB assembly

  • Shop floor assembly work

  • With minimal or no assistance perform test procedures in compliance with established test processes.

  • Interact with clients to identify and resolve problems in the area of technical expertise.

  • Communicate the status of the current project to appropriate members of the team to ensure the needs of the clients will be met.

  • Work as a team member within the group, but may work autonomously much of the time.

  • Maintain ISO 9001 Quality System requirements relative to responsibilities after undergoing Quality System training.


Key Skills:



  • Ability to read engineering drawings

  • Good knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuit Fault finding

  • Have good communication skills orally and in writing.

  • Hand soldering down to 0402 & 0.5mm pitch IC's.

  • Ability to work well with others.

  • Good command of the English language.
