*PERMANENT* Emergency Response Call Handler

Based in Ashburton

£9.90ph (£20,590p.a) rising to £10.30 ph (£21,400 p.a) after probationary period + Additional Shift allowance on weekends & anti-social hours

Full Time, 40 or 32 hrs pw

Excellent PERMANENT job Opportunity to join a growing company that provides essential care to those who are vulnerable. In this incredibly rewarding role you will be a crucial team member acting as a first point of contact for incoming calls. These may be customers using the Emergency help function so individuals will need to be able to respond quickly & appropriately. Daily duties will include:

  • Deal appropriately with callers who may be emotional, distressed, vulnerable, or in crisis and deciding on the right course of action

  • Provide information, advice and guidance to queries from customers

  • Carry out quick risk assessments for every contact received

  • Provide out of hours troubleshooting & advice for customers

  • Accurately record actions taken on customer records using internal computer systems

  • Provide excellent customer service to customers who may be setting up or testing their device

  • Undertake shift work covering 6am-10pm, 7 days a week - Shifts are worked on a rota basis but all applicants must be willing to work shifts that may include evenings & weekends
