We are currently looking for Employee Relations Advisor to work within a trust based in Gillingham, Kent. Start immediately for 3 months. Pay £16.48ph.




  • Supporting managers with disciplinary, grievance, bullying and harassment, sickness absence and performance management cases, including supporting managers in the preparation of cases at all stages of the procedure

  • In conjunction with the HR Business Partners, advise and support managers in organisational change, ensuring the formal consultation with staff representatives and staff is carried out effectively and within agreed timescales

  • Providing managers with advice on all aspects of Employee Relations, policies, procedures and good practice. Work with the Resourcing team and Organisational and Professional Development team to support on recruitment and training initiatives across the Trust

  • Support with the development and review of HR policies ensuring all existing, new or amended policies are implemented in a timely fashion across the Trust and managers coached / trained as required

  • Act as designated HR Manager for specific Divisions / Care Groups

  • Effective monitoring of HR KPI's in relation to casework by regular analysis of the HR casework tracker



Skills:



  • Degree or equivalent qualification or experience

  • Full CIPD qualification (or very near completion) or equivalent HR experience

  • Evidence of a commitment to ongoing personal development

  • Up to date knowledge of employment law

  • Knowledge of Terms and Conditions (Agenda for Change) is desirable

  • Up to date knowledge of HR initiatives is desirable

  • Knowledge of best practice employee relations
