Job Purpose

To support a caseload of unemployed adults to develop job-related skills and secure and sustain employment through a mixture of face to face and online interventions.

Key accountabilities:


Receive enrolment forms from local referral partners and complete enrolment and initial assessment procedures.


Actively manage a case-load of clients and develop individual learning and action plans with each.


Provide 1 to 1 coaching, mentoring, advice and guidance to support for each client to enable them to achieve their programme of learning and successful transition into sustainable work.


Plan and deliver formal and informal training sessions to develop skills, confidence and self-esteem to assist clients to secure sustained employment. Training sessions may be delivered through face-to-face, group, or digital sessions.


Complete all necessary monitoring, assessment, action planning and review processes as required.


Maintain accurate, comprehensive and current records for all clients on your caseload via a management information system. This will include progression towards outcomes and post-provision tracking.


Promote the ethos of the service and Humankind and encourage employers to look positively on our client base as potential employees or volunteers.


Provide appropriate in-work support.


Build and maintain an appropriate knowledge of the skills needs of employers, and contribute to monitoring any changes within the labour market.


Work alongside other relevant agencies and attend multi-agency meetings as required.


Promote the service to external agencies and other stakeholders to increase their awareness


Undertake continuing professional development including participating in supervision, performance appraisals and attending training as/when required


Work in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies & procedures and guidelines - both internal and external


Keep abreast of policy and professional development within your area of professional expertise
